Our AI policy

We didn't want to bury our AI policy in the middle of a long document. So here's what you need to know.

Off means off.

You can switch AI off at any time, either for all accounts or for individual accounts.

With AI off, nothing is sent to an AI provider and nothing is charged for AI. The tools work exactly as they did before.

Leaving AI switched on?Here's what you need to know.

  • We use OpenAI.The creators of ChatGPT.
  • Your data doesn't train their models.Per OpenAI's policy, they will not use your data to train their models.

However, OpenAI may store data for up to 30 days, to check for abuse. This is in line with how AI works across most major tools, and certainly most PPC tools.

It's no secret that AI is bad for the environment, which is why we try to keep usage to a minimum.

Once AI runs its checks, we store the results and reuse the answers.

(This also saves you money, because pulling stored answers is free.)

Stored answers cost nothing.
