Plans
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free has limited usage, but it's enough to have a play with every tool, especially on smaller accounts. No card needed.
What do the paid plans get me?
More usage each month. Every plan, Free included, has every tool and works on all your Google Ads accounts. Starter is $15 a month; Plus, Pro and Max give you 3, 5 and 10 times Starter's usage. See pricing.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Yes: pay yearly and you get 2 months free. Your usage still resets each month.
Is there a free trial?
No trial, because there's a Free plan instead. Use it as long as you like.
How do I cancel?
From the billing page in the app, any time. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for and then stops renewing.
Usage
What does the usage bar mean?
It's how much of this month's allowance you've used. Each run uses a little, once per account, depending on the tool's effort level and the size of the account. Try the explainer to see typical numbers.
What happens when I hit 100%?
Tools pause until your usage resets on your billing date, or until you move to a bigger plan, which applies straight away. Your past results stay where they are.
Does unused usage roll over?
No. It resets each month.
Google Ads access
Why does Google ask for permission to edit my account?
Google offers apps only one level of access to the Google Ads API, so even a tool that only reads has to ask for it. Each tool says up front whether it can make changes. Here's what I do with that access.
Which tools can change my account?
Right now only Negative keyword conflicts, which can remove a negative keyword that blocks your own keywords or products. Every other tool only reads. Nothing changes until you tick the items and confirm. Every change is listed on your Changes page, where you can undo it.
Do you store my Google Ads data?
No. A tool reads what it needs when you press Run and sends the results back to you. Results are kept in your own browser so you can come back to them; the two n-gram tools also hold theirs for one day so your browser can download them. Beyond that, the only Google Ads details on my servers are your list of accounts and the access token Google gives me.
Can I connect a read-only login?
Yes. Add a second email address to your Google Ads account, give it the "Read-only" access level and connect with that one. Google then blocks any change, whatever an app asks. The read-only tools keep working; the ones that make changes won't be able to.
Your account
How do I sign in?
With your Google account. There's no password to set up or forget.
How do I disconnect Google Ads?
In the app, go to Settings, then Integrations. You can also remove Shabba from your Google account's permissions page. Either way, Shabba can no longer read or change your accounts.
How do I delete my account?
From your account settings in the app, or email charles@shabba.io from the address on your account. Deleting cancels your plan, disconnects Google Ads and deletes your data, as the privacy policy describes.
Can I get a copy of my data?
Yes. Email charles@shabba.io from the address on your account and I'll send it to you.
